Top honour at inter school competition

The students of Pre School to class VIII participated in 'Coalesce', a virtual inter school competition hosted by Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, on 10th February 2021. The competition featured 5 events at the different age levels . These events were a fusion of talent, imagination, creativity and alertness.
In the event ‘Jingle Carnival’, Aaira Tabish of Pre Primary presented a jingle which spoke of the importance of good health. Eva Gurkhudey of class II narrated a story on the theme, 'Save our Rich Wildlife', using puppets in the category, Marionette Tales. Viraj Gupta of class III wrote a jingle for the event, 'Jingle- e -Tourism', promoting the special features of Jammu and Kashmir. He showcased the culture of the state, wearing a traditional costume and using props.
Vivaan Singh Tomar of class VI displayed his skills on the theme 'India –A nation of colours and laurels'. He designed a calendar using power point based on the classical dances of India. Aryan Panda and Divyanshi Panwar participated in the 'Tune to Toon' category.
It is a matter of great delight to share that Aryan Panda of class VII was awarded the First Position in the event 'Tune to Toon', whose theme was ‘Ek Bharat -Shreshtha Bharat’. He composed a unique story on the harvest festival through cartoon strips to demonstrate the unity in diversity of the different social-cultural groups across our rich country.
All the participants gave their best in this novel opportunity to express themselves and showcase their creativity.
