Students of Pre School Sparrow celebrated the 72nd Independence Day of our Nation on 14th August 2019. The tiny tots presented a Special Assembly on this occasion with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The children enthralled the audience as they sang a medley of patriotic songs: ‘Ek do Ek do badhte kadam’ , ‘ Hum chote chote bachche hain’, ‘ Three colours in the Indian flag’.
The little ones looked adorable as they came dressed as the national symbols and each one spoke a few lines about the symbol he or she represented.
The show concluded with a creatively choreographed dance performance on the song-‘ Suno gaur se duniya walon’ ... filled the hearts in the audience with pride.
The efforts of the little ones was appreciated by Ms. Susan Thomas who reiterated the value of responsibility and compassion. The assembly provided a rich learning for the students in an entertaining way.
Indeed, it was a day jubilation and pride for the motherland, instilling values and reverence in the heart of the young Foundationers.
