Pre primary classes pray for the well being of all on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi

“The remover of obstacles, the Lord of beginnings, the beloved Ganesha blesses us all with wisdom and prosperity.”

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm by the children of Pre school Sparrow and Pre primary Dove. The day began with a storytelling session, where the children listened attentively to the delightful legend of Lord Ganesha. The Pre school Sparrow students then expressed their creativity by sculpting Ganesh idols using turmeric and wheat flour. This hands'-on activity involved them deeply with the festival's cultural richness, even as  they thoroughly enjoyed the process.

The students of Pre primary Dove engaged in craft with shapes and decorative beads. In their craft books, they drew colourful images of Lord Ganesha. They also crafted Ganesha idols using clay and leaves, adding another layer of uniqueness to their work. These activities helped them appreciate the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi interactively and enjoyably.

Both Pre primary and Pre-school children came together to welcome their handmade Lord Ganesha idols. They sang the Ganesh Vandana and other traditional songs. Through storytelling, the values that accompany Ganesh Chaturthi were explained, chiefly the well being of one and all.

The celebration ended on a 'sweet' note with the distribution of a sweetmeat among the students and teachers, making it a memorable occasion filled with learning, joy, and devotion.
