Little Green Activists at TFS

Heal the World with a Touch of Green was the tagline of the Little Green Planeteers on Earth Day.

The Earth Day celebrations were marked with interactive session on trees, craftwork using the 3 R mantra of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and multimedia presentations. [gallery ids="1576,1578"] The Citizenship program joined hands with a reputed sweet shop in South Delhi who offered their paper bags to be used as a medium to spread the message of conserving the earths resources through colourful messages. These bags were then returned to the store by the tiny tots to be used by consumers on Earth Day-driving home the point that as responsible citizens, we need to make sustainable choices. Every student was presented with a potted plant which each of them promised to water & nurture for a greener tomorrow.
