Classes 4 and 5 celebrate the values of Lord Buddha on the occasion of Buddha Purnima

On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, the students of classes IV and V engaged in an enriching and reflective session to commemorate the enlightenment and teachings of Lord Buddha. As a part of the celebration, an inspiring film was screened, portraying the significant milestones in Lord Buddha’s journey - from His royal beginnings and His renunciation of worldly pleasures to His attainment of enlightenment and the dissemination of his profound teachings.

The film provided a captivating visual narrative that helped students understand the values of compassion, non-violence, mindfulness, and self-realisation. A thoughtful discussion followed, where students shared their reflections and connected Buddha’s timeless wisdom to their everyday lives.

To deepen their understanding, the students also designed posters. The activity not only fostered creativity but also reinforced the importance of peace, empathy, and inner growth.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the power of self-discipline and the pursuit of truth, leaving a lasting impression on young minds. Our School remains committed to nurturing universal values and moral learning through such thoughtful initiatives.
