ISA Award Ceremony held on 25 March, 2021
The British Council held the Virtual International Dimension in Schools Annual Certification Ceremony on Thursday 25 March 2021. As a part of this ceremony this year, a panel discussion was held on the theme-
‘Educational Resilience in a VUCA World’. The principals of the various winner schools took part in the discussion and shared their experiences of the ISA journey.
The British Council has conferred The Indian School-Second Shift with its International Dimension in School Certification for the year 2020-23. The School was felicitated with this award (previously known as the
ISA Award) for the second consecutive term!
The award ceremony was attended by Ms Rajika Dixit and Ms Neelima Oberoi virtually.
As a part of the project, the School undertook and completed seven activities based upon the ‘Sustainable Development Goals’, embedding an international dimension in each of these. These activities not only
involved students and teachers from various segments of the School, but also enabled the participants to evolve into better defined personalities-intellectually and emotionally more conscious of their responsibility as global citizens.
The School was awarded for demonstrating exemplary qualities of team management, innovative problem- solving and an international outlook in its projects. The IDS programme supports schools in fostering an
international ethos through the School and embedding the value within the curriculum.
This recognition was made possible with the support and cooperation of our parents, staff and our diligent students. The international exposure has helped the students discover new capabilities and skills. We look forward to achieve more recognitions like this as the year goes by.
