Happy Feet in the Pre Primary.

Face the crowd.

Feel proud. Perform. Love every minute of it and Shine your brightest!

From the beginning of time, dance has been a popular medium of art and expression and is also a channel to bring people together and spread joy and happiness.

With the aim to give our young students a platform for dance and to thus ingrain confidence on stage, the Pre-Primary department organised an inter-class dance competition, aptly namedHappy Feet on 25th September, 2017.

The School auditorium was beautifully decorated and ready to welcome the judges, the performers and the spectators.

The event commenced with an enthralling performance by the students of Pre-Primary Canary to the popular song Jai Ho. Everyone was elated to see the young students vigorously match step to rhythm even as they handled their props skilfully.

Next, was a foot-tapping performance by the students of Pre-Primary Dove. The children dressed in red and flourishing sunglasses, danced in harmony with the beat of the popular song Lean On.

Next was Pre-Primary Koel. The students dressed as Batman and Superman, presented an energy filled dance performance to the song That Power.

The students of Pre-Primary Pelican tapped their little feet to the heady tune of Waka Waka and delighted everyone as they flicked their rainbow ribbons to the rhythm.

The last performance was by the students of Pre-Primary Swan who danced to the tune of the popular chartbuster Despacito. It made for a carnival of sorts on stage with the students vigorously waving their bright pompoms as they matched step to the song.

The enthusiasm, confidence and energy of the young performers was widely appreciated by all present.

Pre-Primary Swan emerged winner of the event, followed by Pre-Primary Canary as the first runner-up and Pre-Primary Pelican as the second runner-up.

By the end of the competition, the joy of achievement and of a new confidence was beaming on the faces of the young students. Every child had spontaneously put his or her best foot forward.
