Inter house Competition on World Nature Conservation Day

As a part of the World Nature Conservation Day celebrations, our School held an exciting inter house competition, “Nature Warriors: Protectors of Flora and Fauna,” on 27th July 2026. The event aimed to inspire students to become environmental champions and spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature and wildlife.

Students from different class levels showcased their creativity and environmental consciousness through a variety of engaging activities. The competition encouraged participants to use recycled and eco-friendly materials while presenting their unique interpretations of 'Nature Warriors'.

For Pre School to class-2, students participated in a fancy dress activity named Green Masquerade which provided an opportunity to dress up as Nature Warriors and speak about their special powers and responsibilities. Students confidently portrayed characters such as Tree Guards and Water Savers, highlighting the importance of conserving forests, rivers, and natural resources.

Students of Classes 3 to 5 participated in Cartoon or Caricature Making, where they designed imaginative Nature Warrior characters on A4 sheets. To promote sustainability, each participant incorporated at least one recycled material in their artwork, creating colourful and meaningful representations of environmental heroes.

For Classes 6 to 10, the 3D Cartoon or Caricature Making activity challenged students to construct three-dimensional Nature Warrior models using discarded and recycled materials. The innovative creations reflected the students’ understanding of environmental conservation and their commitment to reducing waste through creative reuse.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all the four houses, with students demonstrating remarkable creativity, teamwork and awareness of environmental issues. Through their imaginative presentations and artworks, participants conveyed powerful messages about conserving nature, protecting wildlife and adopting sustainable practices in daily life.

The event was a great success and served as a meaningful platform for students to express their ideas about environmental protection. It reinforced the importance of individual responsibility in preserving our planet and inspired everyone to become true “Nature Warriors” dedicated to safeguarding flora and fauna for future generations.

Venus House was named winner of the event.
