The Zonal Athletic Meet 2026–27, organised by District South, Zone-23, was held at Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi, from 24 August to 1 September 2026. The meet provided a platform for young athletes from various schools to compete in U-14 and U-17 boys’ and girls’ categories in various track and field events, including 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 600 m, 800 m, 1500 m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, 4×100 m Relay and 4×400 m Relay
A total of 15 students from The Indian School Second-Shift participated in the Athletic Meet. Aryan Kumar (VII-A) secured a Bronze Medal in U-14 Discus Throw, while Arsh Ul Hasan Zaidi (VIII-B) secured a Silver Medal in U-14 Shot Put. Shubh Kumar (X-A) secured 4th position in U-17 Discus Throw. Hanna (X-A) secured 4th position in U-17 Shot Put and Discus Throw, while Karan Rawal (X-A) secured 4th position in U-17 Shot Put.
The participation and achievements of the students reflected their dedication, regular training, discipline and determination to excel. The individual athletes demonstrated strong competitive ability across track and field events. Their impressive performances brought laurels to The Indian School Second-Shift and highlighted the school’s continued commitment to promoting athletics and competitive sports among students.
