Special Assembly on Conserving Water
We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility for our community and the natural resources provided to us by Mother Earth.
With the increased problem of pollution in our country it is essential to inculcate values to protect our planet Earth early on.
Keeping this idea in mind and linking it to the curriculum, the Pre Primary hosted a special assembly on 5 December,2017 where they explained to their peers, the importance of water and the need to conserve it.

The assembly opened with a dance which depicted the beauty of water, followed by a skit in which the students recreated a village scene where people were wasting water. The protagonist dissuaded them but they ignored him and continued wasting water, leading to a shortage of water.
The message of the skit was was loud and clear that either we conserve water or learn to live without it.
Next, the choir sang In it together, forever and ever to rejoice in and preserve natures bounty.
The assembly concluded with Ms. Dashmeet Kaur posing questions to the young audience on what they had just learnt at the assembly.
Our head, Ms. Susan Thomas appreciated the efforts of the students and asked the children to make an effort to consciously ensure they do not waste water and thereby save our Planet Earth.
