Special assembly on Air Quality in Delhi by class I D

Pollution, Pollution everywhere, Not a single breath of fresh air.

This holds so true when Delhi is covered in smog and the air quality index reads severe.

The assembly started with an invocation. This was followed by the children by turn coming up on stage to explain why air pollution builds up, what measures can br taken to stop it.

Divyanshu Joshi informed his peers about the plants that act as natural air purifiers. A skit depicting our futures in 2030, if we take no steps to arrest pollution. We will soon have to buy oxygen to breathe, which for now is free and available. What was being conveyed seemed to impress the audience, as the children listened attentively. Adelina Jamatia and Tejal Dhiman presented a poem on pollution in English and Hindi respectively.

The assembly concluded with a song by the entire class all -Earth, we are in it together.

The assembly was a nice blend of entertainment and information. It sought to create awareness amongst young children on a critical concern like pollution, in an endearing way.
