Indias 72nd Independence Day was celebrated at The Indian School-Second Shift with much enthusiasm and fanfare on 14th August 2018. The unfurling of the flag was done by Mr. Lal Raisinghani, Member of Managing Committee in the presence of the entire School.

A special assembly was organised by the children of classes IC and IV A, who expressed their gratitude to the brave hearts of our nation. The stage was beautifully decorated with tricolour balloons and a string of paper flags lined the stage. All students who had gathered for this special occasion also carried tricolours in their hands. In the backdrop, ran a presentation depicting the heroes of Indias struggle for independence.

The ambience, our national colours and songs served to create an atmosphere of celebration and patriotic zeal.
