School Nutrition Ambassador Initiative Workshop
The School Nutrition Ambassador Initiative Workshop was held on 30 September 2026 to empower students, educators, and community members with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to promote healthy eating habits.
Bringing together health professionals, educators, and dedicated community volunteers, the collaborative session served as a dynamic platform to discuss actionable strategies for enhancing nutritional awareness across schools. The initiative focused on promoting balanced diets, dispelling common dietary misconceptions, and preparing students to act as peer leaders within their school communities. 3 students of Middle School participated in the event.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a series of interactive activities designed to make nutritional science both accessible and practical. Health professionals led engaging lectures and myth-busting discussions centred on evidence-based dietary guidelines, while interactive sorting games challenged students to evaluate food items based on their protein content and overall nutrient density.
Furthermore, student delegates from various participating schools shared valuable insights regarding their respective school lunch arrangements, facilitating an insightful dialogue on healthy eating in daily academic life.
Educators actively guided students on the importance of conscious eating, encouraging them to question unhealthy dietary trends and make informed choices. Armed with compelling facts and practical knowledge, the newly trained student ambassadors were motivated to share their insights with peers, families, and friends, extending the workshop's impact beyond the classroom to foster a culture of lifelong wellness across the broader community.
