Special Assembly on the Values of Mahatma Gandhi by class 6

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi

On 5 October 2026, the students of Class VI presented a vibrant and meaningful special assembly to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, highlighting Gandhiji’s life and teachings through an engaging blend of music, theatre, dance and a visual presentation.

The assembly began with a warm welcome song, setting a cheerful and purposeful tone for the occasion. This was followed by an engaging play portraying the values that Gandhiji practised and championed, bringing his timeless teachings to life through relatable situations.

A captivating video presentation on the life of Mahatma Gandhi took the audience through significant moments of his remarkable journey. This was followed by an energetic patriotic dance, celebrating the spirit of India, peace and unity.
The musical presentation featured “Vaishnava Jana To” and other favourite bhajans associated with Gandhiji, creating a soulful and reflective atmosphere.

Adding a delightful touch of creativity, “Bapu’s Magic Bag” brought alive simple yet meaningful lessons on cleanliness, learning, self-reliance and caring for others. An inspiring address by our Headmistress further encouraged the students to embrace these principles in their everyday lives.

The assembly concluded with a reminder that Gandhiji’s legacy lives on in the choices we make each day. Students were encouraged to practise honesty, compassion and courage in their daily lives, understanding that even small actions can bring about meaningful change.
