Rhyme and Rhythm-by PS and PP

The Indian School-Second Shift organised ' Rhyme and Rhythm 2014' on 10th November, 2014. The objective of the event was to lend stage exposure to our tiny tots of Pre-school and Pre- primary.

The children divided into groups, sang aloud with actions. They were divided into three groups, the first group, Robin and Magpie started with peppy and cheerful songs; " Hello Everyone", "Wheels of the Bus " and "Kisne Banaya Phoolon Ko". The second group, Bulbul and Mynah livened with the autumn afternoon too, with their " Red Indians, Red Light and Bandar Mama", while the third group Koel and Pelican took our breaths away with their "Lollipop Song", " Have You Got the Sunshine", and. "God Loves Me". Colourful props added even more dash to the show.

The purpose of organising this event was to ingrain confidence and group -participation. Classes 1 and 2 were invited to be audience. They were only delighted to watch along as their younger counterparts performed with proficiency! They generously applauded the exuberance.

The songs were composed by our dear music teachers, Ms. Bedi and Mr. Amit Kumar.

The children were silently thrown the challenge to sing in harmony, coordinating with their peers. And they left us proud!

The show concluded with appreciation from our Head Teacher Ms. Susan Thomas.
