Pre-Primary Excursion to Deer Park
Teaching children about the natural world should be seen as one of the most important events in their lives - Thomas Berry
The children and teachers of Pre-Primary went on an excursion to the Deer Park on 15th December, 2016.
The children were looking forward to the afternoon in the sun, amongst the trees. They ran about in glee and then happily sat together for a picnic bite. It was a delightful sight to see the children share their snacks and cheerfully amuse each other.

Next, the children geared up to explore Deer Park with their teachers. The Park is known for being an excellent picnic spot and as the name suggests, it has spotted deer in its enclosures. The children were elated when they spotted the deer, rabbits and peacocks and crowded against the enclosures for the best views! The animals too seemed curious about their young, enthusiastic onlookers and obliged by coming close to enjoy the adulation!
It was a truly refreshing out-of-the- classroom learning experience.
