National Safety Day observed in Pre School to class 2
Life is precious, and being safety- conscious is essential to value our lives and ensure we remain safe in all that we do. National Safety Day is observed in India on 4th March by the National Safety Council of India, serving as a timely reminder of the importance of safety in everyday life.
Various activities were conducted for Pre School, Pre-Primary, and classes 1 and 2. The aim was to create awareness among students about safety measures, promote a culture of safety, equip the children with knowledge to prevent accidents in daily life, and familiarise them with traffic rules and regulations.
The children in Pre School observed National Safety Day by listening to an engaging story on road safety measures. Pre Primary made a poster highlighting the importance of refraining from using mobile phones while on the road. They also watched an informative video and discussed road safety with their teachers.
Students in classes 1 and 2 learned about road safety rules and the various traffic signs through creative enactments. The children participated enthusiastically and made posters that showcased multiple ways to protect ourselves. The session was both informative and fruitful, as all the participants actively engaged in the activities and gained valuable knowledge.
