Jumbos Birthday Party in Pre-school

Jumbo celebrated his birthday on 5 May for the Preschoolers at The Indian School-Second Shift. The children were dressed as animals for a merry time.

It was a early summer's Tuesday afternoon, after a long weekend and the children were eager and happy to be a part of the celebration. It did not trouble them that the costume was furry or thick! They seemed waiting to perform! Parents were seen at the gate anxiously giving last-minute instructions to the teachers on gate duty. As the children trooped into their classrooms, they were happy to see the colourful balloons strewn about in welcome. The birthday table was laid out with a yummy cake crowned with candles, all ready to be lighted up !

Jumbo welcomed his friends to his party, as the children introduced themselves. They all gathered around the cake as He ( Jumbo ) blew in one big heave blew out the candles in one go! His friends sang for him and clapped in merriment. The cake and lollipops were enjoyed by all. After the cake was cut the ' animals' broke into dance as some favourite music rang out in their classrooms. The Jumbo had rabbits, giraffes, tigers, lions, monkeys, bears, a horse, butterflies, a bee and a spiderman for company on his special day ! It was quite an animal kingdom at TFS !!
