Global Hand Wash Day

On 15th October, 2014, the students of, class I- of The Indian School-Second Shift actively took part in a Global Hand Washing Relay conducted by Dettol .The aim of the exercise was to build awareness about SPREADING HEALTH, NOT GERMS. [gallery columns="2" ids="2925,2926,2927,2928"] The campaign oriented the children about the importance of hand-hygiene in the prevention of disease. Care was taken to teach how the hands must be washed as a habit The children enjoyed both the visual and practical activities and were very animated about what they were shown. All the children were awarded certificates of participation and a wristband carrying the message - 'Give Life a Hand. Ms. Rekha Kapoor.
