Excursion to Lodhi Garden-Pre-primary, 2015
The weather and mood all pleaded for an outing in the sun which was happily heeded when the tiny tots of Pre-primary, went on an exploration of sorts to Lodhi Garden on 29th December, 2015.
As the children stepped out of their buses on the sunny but chilly afternoon; they were embraced by natural warmth of the garden. Luxurious trees and colourful birds in their camaraderie on the ample branches, in an unhurried fashion, made for a indulgent spectacle. The little ones quickly took to their surroundings and ran about in their glee as they absorbed the freshness. After a quick bite, each class sat together to play games in the supervision of their teachers.

Next, the children got ready to explore the garden popular for its diversity. There were families enjoying the day in the pleasant surroundings. The garden also serves as one of the best joggers' parks in Delhi with people coming to exercise, meditate, and do yoga in the lush green environment
The fun didnt end here as the children delighted in watching the ducks in the pond. The graceful birds seemed to enjoy the attention they received from their little guests. They quacked merrily and proudly paddled across the pool. The children were also fortunate to see variety of fish. The little ones, in great abandon, heartily laughed and horsed about in the gala garden, seemingly oblivious to the world around!
When it was time to return, the teachers had to cajole the little ones as they were very reluctant to leave. The children learnt how to appreciate the abundance of Mother Nature and relish every moment there, stimulating the ability to appreciate aesthetic beauty in the foliage.
Overall, a rewarding experience packed with both learning and entertainment for our young learners.
