Classes Pre school-2 present a special assembly on Dussehra
“In the triumph of good over evil lies the essence of Dussehra.”
The Pre-School to Grade 2 students presented a spectacular Dussehra Special Assembly, showcasing the values of courage, righteousness, and devotion as depicted in the Ramayana. The event was a vibrant celebration of the festival, filled with performances that brought the epic to life.
The assembly began with the youngest performers, the Pre School children, dressed as characters from the Ramayana. They charmed the audience with their delightful portrayal and presentation of a song that set the festive tone. Following this, the Pre Primary students took the stage, performing an energetic and beautifully coordinated dance. Harshvardhan of Pre Primary added to the significance of the day by confidently sharing a few lines about the importance of Dussehra.
The event culminated with the students of classes 1 and 2 dressing up as various characters from the Ramayana and enacting key moments from the epic. Mihira, who played Sita, impressed everyone with her poise and confident delivery of her lines. Jibran as King Dashrath, Yadaan as Lord Ram, Saatvik as the formidable Ravana, and Dakshit as Hanuman, all, presented stellar performances, bringing their characters to life in great enthusiasm. The assembly was anchored efficiently by Manal oc class 2, who guided the event with grace and clarity.
Headmistress, Ms Sanjeeta Roy appreciated the students for their efforts and applauded their teachers for putting together such a well-organised and meaningful assembly. The Dussehra Special Assembly not only entertained but also imparted important lessons about the victory of good over evil, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
