Pre -Primary Swan conducted a special assembly on Monday, 24th December 2018 on the occasion of Christmas. The assembly commenced with a welcome address and a brief introduction by our young and confident student-anchor.....
A skit based upon the nativity scene was enacted with narration by some of the children. The narration was interspersed with a music score for the season. The children spoke clearly and confidently, to explain the different aspects of the festival and how it is celebrated. They explained that Christmas teaches Sharing and Caring.
[gallery link="none" ids="17924,17925,17926"]As expected the entry of Sanyam Negi as our dancing Santa had the little audience squealing in delight and they clapped continuously as the feisty music played! A few children dressed as reindeer, danced to the timeless Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. The Christmas mood seemed made.
The children then sang some traditional carols like: Joy to the World, Jingle Bells, Long time ago in Bethlehem etc. An amply accoutred Christmas tree covered with Christmas craft made by the children completed the festivity.
Advisor, Ms. Susan Thomas spoke to congratulate the students and reiterate the special spirit and values of Christmas.
