Christmas celebrations in Primary

“Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand.”  Anonymous

Christmas is a festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. In line with this thought, Pre School to class 2 conducted a special Christmas  assembly on 22.12.23.

The Pre school and Pre Primary children sang the carols - 'Give me a bell to ring, give me a song to sing' and the every popular

' Jingle Bells'. They also tapped their feet as they sang out aloud, 'We wish you a Merry Christmas'.

Dressed as a reindeer, a snowman, an elf,  Santa and a Christmas tree, class 1 did a ramp walk. The audience clapped in delight as the young ones confidently and graciously walked the ramp.

Class 2 presented a skit on the theme 'Sharing and Caring' which emphasised the necessity of being kind especially towards the less privileged. The assembly concluded with the audience singing and dancing to the Christmas songs.

The students of classes III - V participated in an inter-house craft competition where they indulged in Christmas tree decoration, filling up stockings and Santa face decoration etc.

The much loved and timeless values of Christmas, namely sharing, compassion, peace and love for all mankind, resonated through these activities.
