Childrens Day at TFS

While we try to teach our children all about Life, our children teach us what life is all about! Children's day, also called Bal Diwas is celebrated on November 14 every year and for good reason. Pandit Nehru's birthday is Children's Day! To make our children feel special on their special day, the teachers of The Indian School-Second Shift affectionately hosted a special assembly for the students which was a surprise for all of them! The teachers of pre-school and pre-primary sang songs for their dear students and also matched step to all-time favourite numbers like ' bham bham bhole', ' chak dhoom dhoom' etc. The students were delighted.

A handmade card was prepared for each child by the class teachers in the class room. The teachers of pre-primary also organised a mini-carnival. The children played games like musical chairs, lemon race, and a water bucket/bowl game. It was followed by a class party. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and so did their teachers. The students of primary participated in a drawing competition and happily showcased their talent. By Ms. Neelima Oberoi.
