Annual Exhibition 2020 by Pre primary
Technology may not be able to avoid the onset of a pandemic; nevertheless, it can assist in managing a crisis more effectively. During this time of sheer uncertainty and constant fear, our willingness to adopt technology has been our lifeline.
The students of Pre-primary held their Annual Exhibition 2020 virtually on 16th October 2020. The theme of the exhibition was – “March in Time – Technology – Then and Now”.
The programme commenced with welcoming our dignitaries and followed by a welcome address by our Acting Principal, Ms Sukhmeen Kaur Cheema who motivated the students with her words of wisdom. School Vice-Chairperson Dr. Mrs Nayana Goradia shared her valuable thoughts through a video message and enlightened us all. Few glimpses of our school’s previous year’s functions were showcased for the students and parents to have a look at our celebrations at school. The event began with a cheerful introduction by Khanak Goel followed by a prayer led by our little children Vianika and Svayam.
Next, the children presented a skit on the advantages of technology. Danica displayed how smartphones can help us find directions to anywhere we wish to go, Manvik portrayed the importance of YouTube, and Harshit focused on the importance of online video classes. The students spoke with such ease that the audience was overwhelmed by their confidence and performance.
Students recited a poem on technology followed by some technology facts and some important inventions. The little ones dressed up as Newton, Johannes Gutenberg, Charles Babbage and Thomas Alva Edison and spoke their lines confidently.
Celebration with kids is incomplete without dance. Through dance, students learn teamwork and focus. A dance presentation to the song “Googly Eyes” landed on the virtual screen and dazzled the audience. A video presentation of the students holiday homework and creative work done in the online classes was showcased. As a surprise performance, the little ones joyfully danced with their pom-poms expressing their happiness and gratitude in the Grand Finale.
Last but not the least Viraj gave a Vote of Thanks where he acknowledged students, parents and teachers for their efforts and encouragement to make this exhibition day a resounding success.
