Annual Day 2015
The Magic of the West Coast of India
Down the Western Coast
They travelled along
And while the act took shape,
We watched - enthralled
The spectacular beauty of
Both rhythm and song
Mesmerised all - who came along!
The annual day celebration with its novel theme The West coast of India, woven with the traditional folklore Alladin, was an astounding success. The stage came alive with the magical genies spiriting away Qaifa and Qaima to the dreamed destination. The music was captivating and each state Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Kerala reverberated with its dance, folklore and music. Each beautifully presented by every child at his and her very best.

Each moment was a joy to behold. A kaleidoscope of colour, costume and culture of the coastline was crafted. The entire composition of song, dance and script was developed in-house. In fact it was a tribute to the versatility of both the children and their teachers.
The children's choir sang traditional ( and tongue- twister ) songs in Malayalam and Gujarati in great authenticity! When at last the entire cast sang and matched step with the finale Jai Ho , the unceasing applause and was an encore in itself.
To all of us the West coast is an Ode to unity in diversity, in symphony with nature and the various people harmonising in thought, word and deed.
Till next year, little ones- we eagerly await your presence once more.
