An Australian Rendezvous
As a part of ISA activity, the Pre Primary classes chose to discover Australia. Mr. and Mrs. Karan Sharma, parents of Ransher, student of PS Magpie actively participated in this activity, namely an ice-breaker session that included the kangaroo dance and Hop like a Kangaroo! The kids were truly on their feet! It was time to bake and Mrs. Sharma turned chef and showed the eager little ones the ingredients. Her curious audience was eager to try their hands, at mixing too!

As the fragrant waft of the fresh cakes filled theair, the students could nit wait to taste them.
The highlight of the occasion was when Mr. Sharma played an aboriginal instrumentknown as the Didgeridoo. This is a wind instrumentdeveloped by the Australians and now popular around the world. The parent played it deftly and soon the kids were ready to try their hand at it! This was a fun and engaging activity.

Crafting tea lightholders and ladybirds using waste materials like used plastic bottles was another activity, Ms.Sharma shared. The aim was to remind the students about our depleting resources on earth and how to make better use of waste.
