Project SEARCH (Sensitization, Education and Awareness on Recycling for a Cleaner Habitat) is a programme supported by Teri and Tetra pak to promote environmental sustainability. The project aims at creating awareness on recycling materials among the school community in schools across India.
Efforts at The Indian School-Second Shift tare on to raise awareness on good waste-management practices and the virtues of the '4 R's', making them key drivers in the essential process of enhancing environment protection knowledge followed by positive action. [gallery ids="3193,3217,3196"]Our little student Mentors of class II taught their peers how to cut, clean and collect the post -consumer tetrapak cartons. A bin made from recycled tetra pak cartons has been set up for the collection of post consumer tetra pak cartons. The larger aim is to make schools garbage-free zones.
