Students of The Indian School-Second Shift participated with great enthusiasm in the Zonal Primary Athletic Meet held at Thyagraj Stadium, INA Colony, New Delhi, on 10th April 2026. The event witnessed the participation of more than 20 schools, including both government and private institutions from Zone 23, making it a highly competitive and vibrant sporting occasion.
The Athletic Meet started at 8:30 am and was conducted in two categories: Under-8 and Under-11.
The Under-11 category included events such as 100m, 200m, 4×100m relay, long jump, and medicine ball throw for both boys and girls.
The Under-8 category comprised 80m, 100m, 4×50m relay, and long jump for both boys and girls.
Our students secured a commendable position.
•Nelvin (Class 3-A) secured 2nd Position in Under-8 Long Jump
•Yaamin Abbas Wani (Class 4-A) secured 2nd Position in Under-8 Long Jump
•Gaurvi Joshi (Class 6-B) secured 3rd Position in Under-11 Long Jump
•Arham Ul Hasan Zaidi (Class 6-B) secured 2nd Position in Under-11 Medicine Ball Throw
The event proved to be a valuable learning experience, strengthening the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition among students. The school applauds their efforts and achievements.
