Virtual interaction with an educator in Israel for class 2B

Knowledge shared is knowledge squared.

On December 21, 2021, the students of class 2B accompanied by their class teacher Ms Aarti Singh attended an online session with Ms Karine Tsabari,  educator from the Katsnelson School in Hod Hasharon, Israel. The topic of the session was 'Adverbs'.

After the greetings and introductions, the students engaged in a discussion with Ms Tsabari on the weather in the different part of India. They also played a pondering quiz. She was amazed by the accurate responses in a well-disciplined manner.

Our students curiously asked a few questions about the weather in Israel, which were answered with impressive videos clips and picture slides. Based on the discussion, the Israeli teacher wisely integrated the topic of ‘Weather’ with our topic of Adverbs and showcased a captivating Power Point presentation that was engaging and fun-filled.

The presentation contained questions that probed adverbs for answers.

For instance, How is it raining? How does it snow? Students answered heavily, loudly, silently etc. She also included the fill-ups quizzes which were supposed to be solved by brainstorming about the best fitting adverbs(‘ly’) for the sentences. The students participated and answered the questions brilliantly. Ms Tsabari was impressed to see the articulate responses!

In addition, our class teacher presented a well-prepared Power Point presentation filled with various objective-type questions and game links to practice the topic.

It was a wonderful learning opportunity for the teachers and students on a common virtual platform. The session immensely helped our students to understand the concept.

It concluded with a promise to meet again.
