Teacher's Day celebrations ( virtual)
"If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the Teacher.” APJ Abdul Kalam.
Teacher’s Day at The Indian School-Second Shift was celebrated online this year on 5th September 2020. Despite being a virtual celebration, in no way did it dampen the enthusiasm of the teachers and students alike!
The students of classes 7 and 8, organised a memorable show for their dear mentors. An hour long programme conducted in the evening commenced with the Guru Vandana, heart-warming live dance performances, a live tabla performance and innovative online games for the teachers. The students took the show forward by presenting a title and a heartfelt personal video message for each teacher.
The evening concluded with a note of thanks to all the teachers, who work tirelessly and have risen to their call of duty during the pandemic and lockdown days so that the academic year proceeds without interruption.
The teachers were expectedly overwhelmed by this token of loving appreciation and gratitude.
