Special assembly on Cleanliness for Gandhi Jayanti

  On 11th October2017, a special assembly was conducted by students of class 3A on Cleanliness. The students presented a role play that described the importance of taking responsibility for keeping our surroundings clean. They also explained the importance of segregating waste as recyclable and non-recyclable, using distinct coloured bins, blue and green. Following this was a song We are the world, which spread the message of protecting our planet and keeping it green. The song was melodious and the children sitting in the audience also sang along. Handmade banners carrying the message of Swachhata Abhiyan were also held alot. [gallery link="none" ids="12569,12570,12571"] Ms. Rajika Dixit, discussed the importance cleanliness and sanitation in our surroundings. The assembly concluded with the taking of a mass pledge by the students and teachers together, to become Planet Saviours. Select students were also given Planet Saviour badges as they took on responsibility along with their teachers to inspect different areas at School for hygiene and sanitation.
