Skype exchange with peers in Pakistan for class 3C

On October 29, 2021, the students of class 3C accompanied by their class teacher Ms Neelima Oberoi attended a collaborative session with Ms. Aaliyah and her students at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa School, Pakistan. It was an opportunity to know more about each other’s culture.

After a greeting and introduction, the children by turn spoke about the natural heritage of their respective countries. Our students showcased their presentations and videos sharing the details of places like the Valley of Flowers, the Sundarbans, etc. The students in Pakistan were similarly amazed to see the beauty of these sites. Our students were also overwhelmed to see places like the Takht-i-Bahi Buddhist monastery, Shalimar Bagh, the Mohenjo-Daro ruins etc.

The students on both sides discussed the importance of conserving such precious natural heritage. They also exchanged notes about the folk traditions in their countries.

The students in Pakistan performed their folk dance named ‘Pathan’. They showcased the different kinds of embroideries found in their parts.

The session greatly helped our learners to acquire new knowledge and understanding of  life and culture in Pakistan. Similarly, it educated the young Pakistanis about our country. It was a session of 'edutainment'
