On Saturday, 16th May 2026, The Indian School – Second Shift organised a joyful and heartwarming Relationship Day celebration in the School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. The event was specially planned for fathers, uncles, and their children to celebrate their precious bond through fun-filled activities, laughter, creativity, and meaningful togetherness.
The celebration began on a cheerful and energetic note as the School auditorium came alive with smiles, excitement, and enthusiastic participation from both, the children and their fathers/uncles. The atmosphere reflected warmth, happiness, and the true spirit of bonding, making the occasion memorable for everyone present.
The programme became lively with exciting interactive games designed especially for the fathers and the children. The first activity, the Tongue Twister Challenge, filled the auditorium with laughter as participants tried to recite tricky lines without fumbling! Both the children and their dads enjoyed the friendly competition and the cheer!
Another engaging activity was the 'Guess the Vegetable' game, where participants identified vegetables by touch. The game created moments of fun, excitement, and teamwork between the dads and the children.
The celebration became even more energetic with the 'Blow the Cups' Challenge', where participants used air pressure to move cups towards the finish line. The activity brought excitement, laughter, and a wonderful display of enthusiasm all around.
The ever-popular Musical Chairs added great excitement to the event. Participants eagerly strode around the chairs as the music played, creating a lively atmosphere filled with cheers, fun, and enjoyment.
To make the celebration even more memorable, a special hands'-on foam clay activity was conducted in which the fathers and the children created beautiful and creative keychains together. The activity highlighted creativity, bonding, and the joy of crafting something with love and teamwork.
The energy and enthusiasm of all the participants made the celebration truly special. The winners of the games were announced and appreciated for their active participation and sporting spirit.
The day concluded with heartfelt gratitude to the amazing fathers and uncles whose enthusiastic presence, encouragement, and wholehearted participation made the celebration truly special. Their joyful involvement added warmth and happiness to the occasion, creating precious memories for the children.
