Recognition Day for the academic year 2024-25 was celebrated with great joy and pride at The Indian School – Second Shift, marking the culmination of a year filled with hard work, dedication, and commendable achievements by students across all grades. The ceremony was graced by SMC chairperson Ms Brinda Goradia Shroff, Principal Ms Tania Joshi, School Manager member Ms Neena Maini, Headmistress Ms Sanjeeta Roy, and PTA Vice President Ms Krishna Sannigrahi, alongside parents, teachers, and students.
The programme began with an invocation, the Saraswati Vandana, seeking blessings from the Goddess of Wisdom. In her address, Principal, Ms Joshi, applauded the efforts of the students and their teachers, motivating everyone to strive for excellence.
The highlight of the event was the much-awaited award distribution ceremony. Students from Pre school to class 9 were recognised for their achievements in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Awards such as Best in Academics, All-Rounder, 100% Attendance, Best in Dance, Music, Art, Sports, and IT were conferred upon deserving students. These awards testified to the children’s relentless efforts and all-around development.
The celebration was further enriched by captivating cultural performances, including a soulful dance and a thought-provoking role play that kept the audience engaged and inspired.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Headmistress, expressing gratitude to the School management, teaching staff, students, and parents for their unwavering support and encouragement. The event gracefully came to an end with the School song, instilling a deep sense of pride and belonging among all.
