Pre-School and Pre-Primary observes World Tourism Day

Travel not to escape life, but so life doesn’t escape you.

World Tourism Day is observed globally on 27 September every year. The day highlights the travel industry's social, economic, political, and cultural significance. The aim of celebrating this day is to spread awareness and increase tourism internationally.

The students of the Pre school and the Pre primary celebrated the day in enthusiasm.

Each student in Pre school was assigned a country wherein, he or she dressed up in the attire of the native country. They discussed about the different languages spoken, the cuisines enjoyed, heritage  sites and other famous landmarks in that country.

The children greeted each other in the language of the country that they represented and chatted about the names of local delicacies, traditions, types of livelihoods etc.

The students of the Pre primary prepared a beautiful collage of the places they have already visited and those that they wish to visit. They spoke animatedly about several interesting cities and states  in India, costumes worn, festivals celebrated etc .

The celebration helped assimilate a sense of belongingness towards one's culture and tradition as well as helped build insight of world heritage from across the globe. In the bargain, a bond of togetherness fostered among the toodlers, to work as one large family.
