Pre primary visits Sunder Nursery
A Spring excursion to Sunder Nursery was held for the students of Pre-Primary on 12th March 2019. It was a fun filled journey by bus.
Sunder Nursery is a heritage park adjacent to the Humayuns Tomb . Less crowded than the old favourite, Lodhi Garden, the park is home to many rare trees such as the Pink Cedar, Chukka and Popoi. It provides a wide variety of flora and fauna. Our students visited the Sunderwala Burj, Sunderwala Mahal and the Lakkarwala Burj.

When you step into the park ,the first monument you see is the Sunder Burj. Stroll inside and you notice the intricate carvings of verses of the Quran adorning its walls. Fountains in the shape of the Lotus are set amidst a clear channel of water.
The weather was ideal for a picnic- bright sun, a cool breeze and laden flower beds. The children thoroughly enjoyed their day. They were very curious to know about the foliage. They excitedly played on the lawns, chasing birds, sharing their snacks and their feelings as they slowly walked to the bus..
