Online discussion on climate change with peers in Italy, for class 4

“No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change.”- Barrack Obama

In line with the above thought, the students of class 4 of The Indian School-Second Shift engaged in an interactive online discussion  with their peers at Instituto Marymount in Rome on 2 November, 2020.

The session commenced with the students of both schools enthusiastically greeting each other. Both the schools were ready to share their presentations on the United Nation’s SDG#13 Climate Action which aims at taking urgent action to combat climate change.

Several facts, problems and ways to address the problems were shared with each other by both the sides. How we can contribute, at our own levels, to help overcome these issues for a healthy and unpolluted environment,  was also avidly debated by the students.

Students on the other side of the screen enthusiastically participated in an online quiz shared by our side.

A Kahoot quiz was also shared with our counterpart school to attempt as a post- session activity.

It was a session filled with promise to spread awareness about climate change. The session concluded with both the classes reluctantly wishing each other adieu!
