National Energy Conservation Day on 14 December 2020
Conserving energy is the first step towards a healthy, sustainable and green future.
National Energy Conservation Day focuses on making us all aware of climate change and global warming by promoting efforts for saving energy resources.
Every year, 14 December is observed as National Energy Conservation Day. This year our youngest Foundationers, the students of Pre school and Pre primary took a pledge to try and conserve energy in our everyday lives.
The occasion day seeks to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation, for both, the present as well as future generations. Our Pre schoolers participated in a class activity titled, "Save Energy", to commemorate this important mission.
A presentation was shown to the students which focused on the ways in which we can save energy.
The children of Pre-primary made table lamps as a craft activity and shared the importance of conserving energy and using renewable sources of energy.
These activities ended with a pledge taken by the tiny tots to not waste water, use energy judiciously in everyday life, ensure zero wastage and spread awareness about the importance of energy conservation for a healthy environment and sustainable future.
