Mothers Day celebration in Pre School and Pre primary
“Mothers love – a brilliant gem to be treasured.”
Mother's Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the love and sacrifices of mothers and mother figures. It is a cherished occasion to honour the incredible women who shape our lives. It is a moment to reflect on the sacrifices, guidance, and unconditional love that these remarkable women provide. Mother's Day is a beautiful tribute to the maternal bond worldwide.
As a celebration of honouring the mother, Mother's Day was celebrated in high spirits at The Indian School-Second Shift. This is an occasion, that none of us can afford to miss and was zealously enjoyed by one and all. The Pre School and Pre Primary children expressed their love and gratitude for their mothers and cherished the bond that they share with them.
In Pre School Sparrow, the little ones celebrated the bond of love and happiness by crafting beautiful photo frames made from old newspaper and water colours. They did ear bud printing and crafted flowers with recycled paper. They even sang melodious songs dedicated to their mothers.
Our little artists of Pre Primary Dove celebrated Mother's Day with love and creativity! The children painted beautiful ceramic mugs using finger and thumb printing techniques, creating vibrant, heartfelt designs. Each tiny print was filled with joy, excitement, and a loving surprise for their beloved mothers.
As a part of the Sanskara Syllabus at our School, the idea of “Matru Devo Bhava”, which means “Revere your mother as God”, was inculcated in the young minds. The children were also reminded that our country and our planet are also mother figures for us, and we should always respect, protect, preserve and honour them.
