Investiture Ceremony 2021

"Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life."

The Indian School-Second Shift observed the Investiture Ceremony 2021-22 online on 11 November 2021.

Investiture is a solemn occasion where the student council is vested with its responsibilities of leadership. 

The student council for Session 2021-22 was announced by Ms Neelima Oberoi and Ms Rekha Kapoor. Each of the new council members took the oath and promised to embrace his and her duties with humility, perseverance and loyalty.

Acting Principal Ms Sukhmeen Kaur Cheema, in her address, heartily congratulated the members of the newly elected Student Council. She urged the young leaders to strive with a unified zeal for the honour of  the institution. She stressed the importance of setting priorities and aiming high.

Aryan Panda was invested as School Captain, Vishakha Majumdar as Sports Captain, Samreen Kaur Saluja as Citizenship Captain, Harshita Khurana as Co-curricular Captain, Anshika Priya Patel as Life skills and Wellness Captain, Simran as Jupiter House Captain, Alvira Imam as Venus House Captain, Samarth Srivastava as Mars House Captain and Harsh Gome as Saturn House Captain.

The programme culminated with a vote of thanks by Ms Rekha Kapoor and Ms Neelima Oberoi alongwith the new members of the Student Council.
