Inter house competition of Christmas craft with recycled material

An inter house competition, The Merry Makers' Craft, was held on Saturday, 21st December 2024, spreading joy and festive cheer among students and teachers alike. Organised by Mars House, the event embraced the theme of Christmas while fostering creativity, teamwork, and sustainability.  

Students from various classes enthusiastically participated in a range of festive activities. Class 1 students showcased their artistic talents with card making, while the Class 2 children added a  personal touch to Christmas stockings. The budding chefs of Class 3 created delightful treats through muffin and cake decoration. Class 4 students contributed to the festive atmosphere with their charming snowman craft, while Class 5 participants designed unique Christmas wreaths. Class 6 students collaborated to decorate a grand Christmas tree, which became the centrepiece of the event.

- Class 4A: Vanshul (Jupiter House) - Snowman Craft  

- Class 4B: Aditya (Mars House) - Snowman Craft  

- Class 5A: Rajdeep (Venus House) - Wreath Craft  

- Class 5B: Mahin (Mars House) - Wreath Craft  

- Class 6: Pranjal, Aashi, Saksham, and Suraj (Mars House) - Christmas Tree Decoration  

A highlight of the competition was its emphasis on sustainability. The students creatively used recyclable materials such as old magazines, newspapers, fabric scraps, and empty jars to craft their masterpieces, promoting eco-friendly practices during celebrations.  


The competition was a beautiful celebration of creativity, teamwork, and the festive spirit.
