Empowering Young Champions: Inter-House Athletic Meet
Sports and athletics play a vital role in shaping the character of students, instilling in them discipline, teamwork, and determination. To celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, our school held an Inter-House Athletic Meet on 15th February 2025.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of classes 3 to 8, who displayed remarkable energy and determination. The meet began with an inspiring address by our Headmistress, who emphasised the importance of sports in overall personality development.
The competition featured a variety of field events, including Sprints, 50m Dash, Relay Races, Obstacle Race, and Hurdle Races. Each house put forth its best athletes, making the competition intense and exciting. Cheers and applause filled the air as participants showcased their agility, strength, and endurance.
The highlight of the event was the hurdle race, which had the students in the audience on the edge of their seats. The spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie was evident as students competed with passion and determination.
After a series of thrilling performances, Venus House emerged as the overall champion, filling its members with immense pride and joy. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded certificates.
The Inter-House Athletic Meet 2025 was a grand success, fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among students. It not only provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent but also inspired them to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
