Honours at PANORAMA - an interschool competition

“Winning has a value for ego but participation has value for life”

Change is the law of nature, to emote, evolve and transcend, is the new spirit of these challenging times.

In the spirit of the above thought, the students of Preschool to Class V of The Indian School-Second Shift enthusiastically participated in an interschool competition hosted by Delhi Public School, Kalyanpur from 8th to 10th October, 2020.

The students participated in various events like Desfile de Moda, where  students unleashed their creativities and dressed in attire made of newspaper. Other events were a face painting competition, crazy imprints and the Pandora Box.

The aim of the competition was to compel the children to think 'out of the box'. Ransher Sharma of class III B was awarded the First Position for Pandora’s Box for his innovative and enticing design of the Pandora's Box. He dipped into the past to create a memory mailbox.

Shreyansh Paul was awarded the Consolation Prize for face painting. He dressed as a white tiger and confidently spoke on his specie.

Devyani Dandapat and Katyayani Mishra were also awarded the Consolation Prize for Crazy Imprints where they creatively drew a scene on the themes, 'My beautiful garden" and 'In my city', using imprints of vegetables, leaves, finger prints and sponge.

Students were thrilled to be a part of an experience which offered their skills a new challenge.
