Nature took centre stage when students of more than 150 schools participated in an annual on-the-spot inter-school essay-writing competition organised by Partnerships for Action in Education (PACE)- the Hindustan Times Newspaper in Education initiative, in association with the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH).

Students from across the Delhi/NCR participated in two categories, namely junior ( classes 4 and 5) and senior (classes 6,7 and 8) .The topic for both the categories was ' Nature protects if she is protected.
A panel of experts from the NMNH assessed the entries and the winners' names were announced. We are very proud to announce that Mehr Sagoi of class VII won the 3rd Prize in the Senior category and Alvira Imam of class 5 was awarded an Encouragement prize for her essay.
