Honours at Dr. Amidas Goradia Inter school Hindi Debate
On 29 August, 2020, the 16th edition of the prestigious Dr. Amidas Goradia Inter-School Online Hindi Debate was hosted by The Indian School. As an initiative to encourage public speaking and promote Hindi, the event was graced by Shri Dhyanendra Mani Tripathi, noted singer and writer. The participants were adjudged by an honourable panel of judges.
The gathering was addressed by Ms Tania Joshi, Principal, The Indian School, who motivated the participants and highlighted the importance of debate in the development of a holistic personality
An animated debate began as the young primary level debaters emphatically expressed their opinions on topics such as , -

The young orators spoke passionately and won everyone’s hearts by displaying remarkable self-confidence.
As the debate came to an end, the judges addressed the gathering, blessing the participants with their appreciation and valuable suggestions. They praised the talented contestants for their confidence and excellent attempt at the language and suggested ways to improve further. The importance of Hindi was underlined and the host school was congratulated for organising the event and promoting the language.
Akshadha Yadav of class V A represented our School and was awarded the 2nd Position in the ‘Best Speaker’ category. Her debate was both witty and informative and she kept the audience enthralled.
It was surely a memorable experience for everyone present.
