Honours at ATF MIND QUEST 2020
“ Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”
In the spirit of the above thought , the students of classes 6 to 8 of The Indian School-Second Shift took part in ATF – MIND QUEST 2020, an online inter school competition organised by Fr. Agnel School on 23 and 24 November 2020.
The quest was aimed at celebrating India and its rich diversity.
The students enthusiastically participated in various events like Malgudi : My Village, Baal Kathaye Dot Story (“Atma Nirbhar Bharat”) , Yakshagana Face Painting and Yoga : Fit. India where they unleashed their creativity and imagination.The participants had a close encounter with Malgudi, a village in Tamil Nadu. They revelled in the folklore of the Panchatantra and even attempted to recite Tagore in French!
The results of the competition were declared virtually on 24 November 2020 in an online closing ceremony. It is a matter of immense delight to share that Saarthak Kapoor of VI A secured the Third Position in the event, ‘Baal Kathaye', where he depicted hibernating birds using interesting hand puppets .Vishaka Majumdar of class VII A secured the Second Position in the event, ‘ Nritya Kala', where she performed ‘Chhau’, the folk dance of West Bengal and Odisha.
The participants left no stone unturned to exhibit their best. The fest presented another valuable opportunity for participants to challenge their own abilities in a healthy spirit of competition.
