Honours at Art event

The Indian School-Second Shift hosted “Art with Purpose” contest on 3 October 2019, in collaboration with SNC Media Ventures. The competition provided a unique experiential opportunity to students of different age groups to showcase their art skills on the theme, ‘The sport that I love’.

The contest was conducted by a team from Faber Castell, India. The visitors distributed the sheets to 150 participants who were seated in the School auditorium according to the following groupings:

1. Group A – Classes 1 & 2

2. Group B – Classes 3 & 4

3. Group C – Classes Grade 5 & 6

4. Group D – Classes 7 & 8

The enthusiastic artists were allotted 60 minutes to complete their imaginative paintings.

The competition was adjudged by the School art teacher, Mr. Dinesh Solanki and Activity Coordinator, Ms. Kanika Batheja

Group B: Class 3 & 4

2nd position- ANTRIKSH MISHRA  Cl 8A

3rd position – MANNAT MANCHANDA  Class 7 A

The short-listed entries have been forwarded to Faber Castell for the National Grand Finale.
