Honouring our brave air warriors
Indian Air Force Day is celebrated on October 8 every year to commemorate the founding of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and offer homage to our brave air warriors. Its motto, ''Touch the Sky with Glory '' is adopted from a verse 'Nabham Sparsham Deeptham’ from Srimad Bhagavad Geeta's eleventh chapter. It aims to defend the nation and keep her people secure.
