On the auspicious occasion of Hindi Diwas, The Indian School-Second Shift organised a series of engaging activities for the students of classes 6 to 10. The event aimed at fostering love and respect for Hindi, while encouraging creativity and self-expression among the students.
The celebrations began with a lively poster-making activity where students beautifully depicted the importance of Hindi through vibrant colours and thoughtful illustrations. It was inspiring to see the young minds bring out their artistic skills to honour the language.
Next was a slogan-writing activity, which witnessed enthusiastic participation. Students penned catchy and meaningful slogans that captured the essence of Hindi and its cultural significance. The slogans not only displayed the children's linguistic prowess but also reflected their passion for the language.
In the debate, students showcased their oratory skills, discussing the relevance of Hindi in today’s globalised world. It was heartwarming to see their confidence and depth of knowledge as they presented their views on the importance of preserving and promoting our linguistic heritage.
Finally, the Nara Lekhan (slogan-chanting) activity brought an electrifying energy to the event. Students gathered in groups and chanted powerful slogans, filling the School with a sense of unity and pride for the Hindi language.
The Hindi Diwas celebrations not only brought joy and excitement but also reinforced the importance of our mother tongue in shaping our identity.
